[oss-devel] ALC268 hdaudio auto detect headphone presence ?

An update :

Using snoopy as an example I've crafted a custom ioctl() which runs a portion of 
hdaudio_codec.c:perform_pin_sense() and allows my app to determine the current
presence sense state for a particular NID. This is obviously a little clunky.

Is there a better, preferable, standard way to achieve this ?

Will the up an coming HDA driver address this requirement ?
