It looks like I forgot to run a script that updates the download page. 
The new version is now available from
http://developer.opensound.com/sources/ (under the stable versions link).

The attached patches are required for SCO and FreeBSD. Apply them 
_inside_ the OSS source directory:

    patch -01 < diff-071011
    patch -01 < diff-071011-1
